Elizabethton Housing & Development Agency
Resident Services department at the EHDA is
involved in many areas of resident life and
activity.  This group is responsible for adult
educational classes, year-round youth programs,
publications of the agency newsletter, design of
the resident calendar and upkeep of the website.  
Currently housed in the EHDA administrative
office building, the staff works to promote
improved quality of life for the residents and
encourages participation in community activities
as well as educational opportunities.
Youth Activities

Youth activities that we are planning include the Summer Kick-Off Picnic,
Day Camp at Hale Community Ministries,  Pool Passes, Movie Day,Game
Day and "Treehouse Activities".

Attention EHDA ADULTS :

Come join our ADULT Group.  We meet each Tuesday and Thursday morning
from 9:00-11:00 a.m. for lots of fun.  We do crafts, take day trips, play games
and just enjoy each other’s company.  Remember that attending this event can
be counted toward your Community Service hours each month.  Each session is
worth 2 hour community service.

Coffee & Donuts with the Executive Director, Adult Group,  Police Substation,
National Night Out, Neighborhood Watch,  Game Day, Community Newsletter,
Youth Newsletter, Resident Meetings, Adult Cooking Class, Adult & Youth
Computer Classes, Movie Day,Clean Team Community Projects,
Summer Kick Off Party, Summer Youth Programs (varies), Resident Advisory
Board, Special Events for Holidays

These are just a few of our programs offered.
All of our programs are designed and implemented by our Residents Services
Dept. If you are interested in teaching a class or volunteering your time in one
of our existing programs please call Vanessa at 543-3571 extension 308.  We
look forward to hearing from YOU!

Fun activities are a great way to get people involved.  Unfortunately some times
(especially during the summer) our activities might be on a first come first serve
basis.  If you or your child (children) is interested in one of our activities, please
call us to put your name on the list.

If you have an idea for a program or a comment about an existing activity,
please let us know.  We rely on our residents to help make our community a
better place to live.
